An art, that of creating good wine, which Italo Cescon have refined with ingenuity and dedication since 1957. Strongly linked to their land irrigated by the Piave River, a tradition of their father Italo began with a simple and natural gesture, that of tying a small shoot around the neck of a bottle, as if it were a thing to be kept, as if it were the most precious thing in the world.

Today Italo Cescon is managed by the third generation : Gloria, Graziella and Domenico. In 2005 they joined the research group "Organic Wine Project", "a choice of love and respect to have a better tomorrow". With the same perseverance with which the vines enrich their bunches, they work every day to raise the quality of their product, from the vine to the bottle.

Since then they literally reap the benefits of organic farming. They take care of their organic vineyards, respecting their natural cycles and in an eco-sustainable manner. Biodiversity is the true wealth of their land, and it is thanks to this balance and the reciprocal relationships of these plant species that we are able to obtain genuine products. They use the ancient green manure technique to enrich the soil of our land, an effective and natural method to amplify the fertility of the vineyard.

"MADRE" represents the very best from the winemakers, obtained after decades of improvements and studies. It contains and enhances the features of the ancient incrocio Manzoni 6.0.13 combined with the unique terrain and soil characteristics of trevisan hills. Received the first 3 glasses by Gambero Rosso in 2017 and subsequently getting the same award from 2019 to 2023.
